Although I live in London I'm still a country girl at heart so one of the ways I try and do my bit for the countryside is support charities that campaign for it.
The Campaign To Protect Rural England (CPRE) is something that I feel very passionate about as I have seen first hand what happens to rural communities when local shops and businesses are forced to close. Doing something as simple as buying food that is grown locally can really make an impact on families who live in country towns and villages.
