Louise has previously blogged about the Campaign To Protect Rural England and I also think it's a great cause and something to be supported.
On Monday 11th August best selling travel-writer Bill Bryson, who is the president of CPRE, is going to be presenting Panorama on BBC1 in which he speaks of his outrage at how people in the UK treat the countryside like a rubbish dump.
This is a great boost for the CPRE's Stop the Drop anti-litter and fly-tipping campaign and Bill Bryson will be traveling about around Britain looking at the problems of litter and fly tipping, talking to people who are taking action, and challenging those who aren't. He looks at potential solutions to these problems, many of which are being promoted through CPRE's campaign. "Notes From A Dirty Island" will be broadcast at 8.30pm on Monday.
